Therapeutic Approach

Kathryn utilizes a strength based, collaborative approach in working with individuals, couples, and families. She provides compassionate, supportive, non-judgmental care to clients in all phases of life and works to help them achieve their goals. Kathryn believes in empowering clients to live as their authentic selves and build a life in alignment with their values.

Kathryn’s experience includes working with transitional aged youth and those struggling with a mental health crisis and addictive disorders in the inpatient hospital setting . Kathryn continued her work in private practice providing DBT treatment including facilitating skills groups, individual and family counseling, dual diagnosis care and working with those in the intensive outpatient program.

She works with adolescents and adults of all ages to decrease behaviors that are interfering with their goals, tolerate distress and regulate emotions. Kathryn has practiced DBT for three years and has completed various trainings in DBT and Prolonged Exposure Therapy for the treatment of trauma and OCD.

Good To Know

Kathryn is a pop culture trivia connoisseur and loves comedy in all forms. She enjoys yoga, travel and collecting experiences with friends and family. In her free time, Kathryn loves to be anywhere with live music or reading a novel in the sun.
